Diamantakis Winery Vidiano 750ml

Vidiano PGI Crete Diamantakis is a white dry wine. Vidiano is an indigenous Cretan grape variety, revived in the last decade. Coming from young in age privately owned vineyards in the area of Asites, at the foothills of Psiloritis, 20km southwest of Iraklion. A classic white vinifacation process is carried out with cold extraction, low temperature fermentation and 3 months sur lie maturation. The wine has a vibrant yellow color and a complex fruity nose of citrus (mostly bergamot), pear and melon. Full bodied balanced by its high acidity, making it a perfect match for a long variety of foods, like seafood, pultry and fresh pasta.
