Château de Reignac presents you its brand new wine, the R de Reignac! It has been aged in vats for 9 months and it has been bottled it at the moment when all the harmonies vibrate in unison for the alaboration of a perfect wine.
The challenge: to make a terroir wine made from a very large proportion of Cabernet Franc with the greatest respect for the fruit.
This unique red wine is not common for the Bordeaux area, yet it’s a wine of unparalleled sophistication and flavor.
The nose delivers generous fresh fruity and gourmand aromas. There are notes of raspberry, strawberry and fine notes of red pepper with a hint of crushed gravel and mint.
The palate has flavors of red fruits (raspberry, strawberry jam, blueberry and sour cherry), followed by hints of wet grave and other earthy notes. The tannins are fine, yet robust. It saws a persistent length of sweet pepper and botanical notes with a subtle tingle from the acidity.
