It was in 1921 in Fournès of Crete, Greece that the first wood burning oven of the surrounding area was built and that it was then that family tradition and zest was introduced in bakery.
Since then, several generations of bakers contributed to the formation of Perakis Bakery. Although it is a Company that features two fully equipped production facilities, as well as state-of-the-art production machinery accommodated in privately owned areas, it has never given up on the traditional wood burning oven and the traditional family recipes.
For decades now Perakis Bakery has focused on the fields of confectionery and bakery and exhibits a production capacity of 180 different bakery products, while our production procedures strictly comply with the ISO and HACCP systems.
Perakis Bakery focuses in Quality as the only path to success throughout the entire production process; they base their ingredients selection on strict quality criteria and standards, while we meticulously follow our family recipes and ensure that each production phase occurs at the right time being thus able to shape and prepare high-quality, homemade products.
